The Majestic Journey

Between May 2010 to July 2011, myself and two others left the comfort of a regular job to try and make our own game studio and see if we could create our own game: The Majestic Journey.

It was a long process learning to try and create a game from scratch, with long hours in my home studio. It was also a fun and creative time of learning for me, and it taught me a rough idea of how a company is run, the pipeline of a game from the game design, concept, to final and i learned a lot from this process.

The storyboards you see are drawn and roughly colored by myself, the final polish coloring was outsourced, and myself and my partners even entirely voiced acted  for the cut scenes in game.

Unfortunately, although all the art assets of the game were completed the programming of the game simply was taking too long to complete for the game to ship and the game had to be put on hiatus.

Despite the setbacks in the game release, I am very proud of the work i did for this game, and hope to someday find a way to release the game as it was originally imagined.
